March 1, 2004 Canada is on the verge of a federal election, and TDH Strategies is about to embark on a little political interactivity with readers. Let the TDH Pick'em/Kick'em Election Pool commence. Format, points, rules, etc. still need to be formally ironed out. And yes, there will be prizes. However, here is how the format will generally work. Entries will be asked to provide 2 things: 1) A province-by-province breakdown of seats. eg. British Columbia = Con - 29, Lib - 5, NDP - 2 2) A total amount of seats that each party will achieve. eg. Lib = 146, Con = 97, NDP = 21, BQ = 41, Ind = 3 Entrants will have their names, selections, and if they so choose, a link to their website or email as part of an ongoing viewable database that can be accessed through the TDH Strategies website. TDH is currently trying to assess what kind of interest is out there for such an idea, and also looking for suggestions on anything from designating rules to awarding points. If there are enough numbers demonstrated in the next week or so, then the pool will formally go ahead. So, if you are interested in participating, please email your intention to electionpool@tdhstrategies.com. Feel free to tell any friends or contacts that also might be possible entrants. |
