January 8, 2004 Jean Chretien staples like "But for me...," "da proof is da proof and when you have da good proof, it’s proven" and "Vive Le Canada" will be sorely missed. In fact, so will the words "poopular" (popular) and "turd" (third). These will be replaced by Paul Martin's "Let me be very clear..." and "The fact of the matter is..." Now that it has been officially announced that Parliament will reconvene on February 2, here's hoping that clarity and facts will guide the Federal government's vigorous and ambitious legislative agenda.
