March 18, 2007 - So Elizabeth May has just announced that she will be running against Peter McKay. She is right when she describes her upcoming battle as a David and Goliath type of situation. Nonetheless, I haven't been as impressed with a politician's press conference in a very long time, particularly when the subject matter revolves around the respective figure's probability for victory within an election. She was well-informed, humble, likeable, and refreshingly devoid of bullshit and spin.

If she wins, she will be a welcome presence in the House of Commons.
